ATTENTION I HAVE A NEW WEBSITE!!!
As of NOV 2016 this is no longer my primary website and I will not be using it to post new artwork. I will leave it up in case anybody still using my old buisness card or resume gets directed here.
My new portfolio can be found at.
My name is Andrew Collins and I am a conceptual entertainment designer and 2D animator living in Washington DC.
I currently work at Dig-It Games in Bethesda, Maryland as a production artist and conceptual designer. I previously worked as a 2D animator and illustrator at Halfyard Productions on shows such as "Diggers" (National Geographic) and "How the States Got Their Shapes" (H2). Some other notable shows that contain my work are "Alien Deep" (National Geographic) and "Narco Bling" (National Geographic) done by Pixeldust Studios. As a philosophy major from Hobart College, I try to combine my problem solving and critical thinking skills to my artistic endeavors.
I am currently enrolled in online classes at the CGMA 2D Academy and attend weekly live modeling sessions. My goal is to work on conceptual entertainment designs for feature films and video games.
